Why we do it?

We believe in providing fair trade and sustainable opportunities to indigenous communities of artisans worldwide.
*

Our company’s mission is to connect consumers to artisans, their stories, techniques, and heritage, allowing consumers to impact the lives of indigenous individuals who would not otherwise have opportunities like these to share their talent and art.

Our business's prosperity is a result of its inherent goodness towards others. Recognizing the significance of our global impact, we hold ourselves accountable to B Corp Standards. Our decisions are thoughtfully made, reflecting a conscientious awareness that encompasses the well-being of artisans, teams, customers, and the environment.

How we contribute?

SOME OF OUR AMAZING ARTISANS

PASCUALA

An amazing entrepreneur. She oversees the creation of +17 unique strap designs each year to fulfill all our orders. She leads a team of over 50 talented women in her community to make it happen.

YOLANDA

Yolanda collaborates with her family to craft the incredible barro negro pieces available in all our boutiques. Leading operations and coordinating production, she ensures we meet the demand for both our unique curated designs and large group orders. Her passion and organizational skills are truly admirable. A fascinating fact is that she is also a dentist, dedicating her nights to attending to her loyal patients.

TAU

A member of the Wirarika community, who journeyed to Baja California and collaborates with us on numerous projects. A true artist and passionate advocate, he seeks to showcase this art form in as many pieces as possible. His dedication is evident in every creation, spreading love and joy through each piece he makes.

IRMA

Irma, a devoted artisan and mother of two, leads her family in crafting the stunning patterns that breathe life into many of our designs. Using a traditional backstrap loom, she inspires her family to innovate and explore new opportunities to promote this beautiful art.
