Crafted Connections: Gifting for MicroStrategy at Four Seasons Punta Mita
At Meraki Objects, we believe that the art of gifting is more than just a gesture, it’s a way to connect people to place, culture, and story. This past May, we had the honor of designing a complete gifting journey for MicroStrategy’s group of 250 guests during their unforgettable retreat at Four Seasons Punta Mita.
From the moment their feet touched the sand, each touchpoint was curated with intention and heart.
✨ Welcome with Color and Tradition
Upon arrival, each guest was welcomed with a handwoven plastic bag in a vibrant array of colors, crafted by skilled artisans in Puerto Vallarta. Attached to every bag was a cascading pom-pom, meticulously handmade by a collective of artisan women in Chiapas. The gifts were not only functional but symbolic, offering a warm embrace of Mexican craftsmanship and heritage.
🌅 Market Night on Cuevas Beach
For their welcome dinner experience on Cuevas Beach, we brought the essence of a traditional Mexican mercado to life. Against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset and accompanied by festive décor, live music (a blend of folkloric and modern tunes), and handcrafted cocktails, guests explored ten immersive market stations, including:
Mexican Souvenirs
Pewter Pieces
Kids’ Station
Handbags & Totes
Hats & Sombreros
Blankets & Textiles
Black Clay (Barro Negro) & Talavera Ceramics
Huichol Art
Striped Beach Essentials
Otomi Craft Corner
Each space invited exploration, discovery, and personal connection with the vibrant art and symbolism of Mexican culture.
🌸 The Otomi Gifting Experience
A second round of gifting featured the colorful and symbolic art of Otomi embroidery. Guests received fabric hand fans adorned with vibrant Otomi-inspired patterns—each uniquely designed and personalized with the company logo. Alongside the fans, we included textile pouches showcasing the same iconic Otomi motifs, inspired by the heritage of the Otomi people from central Mexico. The playful, multicolored designs pay homage to their rich storytelling through flora, fauna, and ancient symbolism.
🖤 Mezcal, Chocolate & Black Clay Magic
Another memorable gift combined modern branding with artisanal soul. Inside a custom-branded woodpaper box, guests discovered:
Two mezcalero cups shaped like expressive faces, handmade from Oaxacan black clay (barro negro)
A bar of authentic Mexican chocolate from the Aranda brand
A hand-painted 750 ml bottle of mezcal, created by Mexican artists and personalized with the name of the group
A mezcal cocktail recipe book to bring the flavor home
This thoughtful combination offered a taste of Mexico’s most beloved traditions, flavor, art, and ancestral spirit.
💛 A Farewell from the Heart
To close the experience, each guest received a farewell gift box handcrafted from dried palm leaves, made in Guerrero. Nestled inside with crinkle paper was a 15 cm barro negro heart with a delicately sculpted calapa lid, crafted in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, by two artisan families. Each piece was created exclusively for the group, with custom molds and a detailed creation process that honored the ancient traditions of black clay work.
As a centerpiece, inside each heart lay a striking Huichol beadwork sculpture of a Bitcoin symbol, handcrafted by Wixarika artists from Nayarit. Each 9 cm piece was made of plaster and decorated bead by bead using bee wax a meticulous process resulting in vibrant, one-of-a-kind works in pastel tones and traditional Mexican hues. 120 unique pieces were created to honor the group’s spirit of innovation and connection.
Every element of this week-long journey reflected our passion for meaningful details, our deep collaboration with artisans, and our commitment to turning every gifting moment into a story worth remembering.
We’re incredibly grateful to MicroStrategy and the team at Four Seasons Punta Mita for allowing us to co-create this unforgettable experience, one filled with color, culture, and heart.
Discover the Magic of Milagros in Punta Mita
There are experiences that stay with you long after they’re over, and our Milagros Experience in Punta Mita is one of them.
This is not just a workshop. It’s a journey into the heart of Mexican tradition, guided by two extraordinary artisans who have spent a lifetime turning pieces of wood into something truly magical.
Meet Lupita & Francisco: 36 Years of Creating Miracles
In the sun-kissed town of Bahía de Banderas, Lupita and Francisco have been carving Milagros (miracles) for 36 years. These small, handcrafted charms — known as milagros in Spanish — have been part of Mexican culture for centuries. Traditionally, they are offered as a gesture of hope, gratitude, or healing.
For Lupita and Francisco, each piece is more than wood. It’s a message. A prayer. A dream given form. And every single one is completely unique, because every story is unique.
What Happens During the Milagros Experience?
This experience, available only in Punta Mita, begins with something simple: choosing a Milagro that speaks to you. Maybe it’s a heart, a star, a hand, or something unexpected that just feels right.
And that’s when the magic happens.
Lupita and Francisco sit with you and uncover the meaning behind the piece you’ve chosen. They tell the stories these symbols hold — stories of love, strength, gratitude, and connection — and somehow, those stories always seem to align perfectly with your own.
The result? You leave with so much more than a handcrafted charm.
You leave with a piece of yourself, reflected in this beautiful tradition.
Zoom’s Gifting Experience at Hotel Nizuc: Two Days of Culture, Connection, and Purpose
On June 4th and 5th, we had the joy of partnering once again with ITA Group, this time to create two meaningful experiences for the team at Zoom. The setting couldn’t have been more magical: the stunning Hotel Nizuc, tucked beside the mangroves in Cancún, where 270 guests gathered for two days of culture, craftsmanship, and impact.
As a proud B Corp certified company, we believe in creating moments that matter not only for those who attend but for the communities behind every handmade piece.
Day One: A Leather Market with Soul
Our first day, June 4th, was all about texture, tradition, and personalization. We curated a leather-focused market featuring three incredible Mexican brands:
Nopalli, with sustainable pieces made from cactus leather
Bixi, a high-quality leather goods brand from León, Guanajuato
Miles & Louie, a Tijuana-based brand blending classic craftsmanship with a modern edge
Guests browsed, shopped, and then brought their items to life with on-site laser engraving, turning every purchase into a one-of-a-kind treasure. The experience sparked joy and conversation—proof that when people connect with the maker and the story, the gift becomes so much more meaningful.
Day Two: A Cultural Market That Gives Back
On June 5th, we shifted from personalization to purpose. This time, Zoom wanted to create something that would not only celebrate Mexico’s rich artisan heritage, but also give back in a tangible way.
We brought in a vibrant mix of handcrafted stations—from Otomi embroidery and Huichol beadwork to Talavera pottery, jewelry, kids’ items, and Mexican souvenirs. But the heart of the day was Zoom’s desire to support a cause that truly matters.
That’s where AMANC came in—an organization that supports children battling cancer and their families throughout treatment. AMANC helps cover essential needs and works to speed up diagnosis, so families can focus on healing, not surviving.
Guests were invited to donate through play money, cash, or card, and the response was incredibly moving. Together, we raised $3,130 USD, which AMANC used to purchase beautiful, handmade pieces from the market—items that will now support their own future fundraising and community outreach efforts.
Business as a Force for Good
This two-day journey at Hotel Nizuc was a beautiful example of what’s possible when gifting becomes more than just a transaction. As a certified B Corporation, our mission is rooted in social responsibility, transparency, and lasting impact. Events like this remind us that every choice—from who we buy from to how we celebrate—can be a step toward something better.
Let’s Create Something Meaningful—Together
Planning an event? Whether it’s a retreat, incentive trip, or brand activation, we’d love to help you bring a curated experience like this to life. From interactive markets to custom gifts with heart, we’ll help you create something guests will remember—and communities will feel.
Let’s turn your next event into a moment of connection, purpose, and real impact.

For Reliaquest’s incentive group in Los Cabos, we designed a custom gifting experience that celebrated their brand identity and values. From striped recycled cotton totes with engraved leather logos to embroidered towels and curated recovery kits, every element was personalized to create a thoughtful, high-impact welcome rooted in quality and craftsmanship.
We had the pleasure of coordinating the gifting experience for the Reliaquest Incentive Group during their recent trip to Los Cabos. One of the most exciting aspects of working with this company was their strong connection to their brand values, logo, and colors, allowing us to create a truly personalized and cohesive experience.
For their welcome gift, we customized our signature striped tote bag, made from recycled cotton, featuring a beautiful leather tag engraved with their logo. The personalization extended to the contents as well—we designed a stunning Los Cabos Arch illustration for the wrapping of our artisanal chocolates, adding a local and meaningful touch.
In addition, we created charming manta bags using DTF (Direct to Film) printing, a technique that ensures high-quality logo application on fabric. These bags were filled with a thoughtfully curated recovery kit, including an IVI, Tylenol, mint gum, Neutrogena wipes, Tic Tacs, and Pepto—perfect for their stay.
To top it all off, we included a fast-dry towel in a rich blue hue, hand-embroidered with their logo, blending practicality with personalization.

A Welcome Bag with Purpose
For this year’s incentive group, we designed a one-of-a-kind welcome bag featuring the beloved Blake Bag—a perfect fusion of artistry from two different regions of Mexico. The woven palm comes from skilled artisans in Guerrero, while the leather accents are handcrafted in Guanajuato.
One of the most inspiring stories behind this bag is Uriel’s journey. Facing the possibility of closing his leather workshop, he found new life through this project, allowing him to keep his factory running and provide steady jobs for his employees. His craftsmanship shined in every detail, from hand-stamped logos to custom pompoms in a tailored color palette,

Altec President's Club 2025
For two years, we’ve partnered with ALTEC to create immersive experiences that go beyond gifting. From Riviera Maya to Punta Mita, we’ve brought vibrant artisan markets, custom welcome bags, and cultural connections to life—supporting local makers while celebrating the heart of Mexico. Discover how meaningful details, like hand-embroidered hats and recycled cotton clutches, turned corporate events into unforgettable memories.
For the past two years, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to work hand in hand with renowned company ALTEC, curating meaningful and immersive experiences that celebrate Mexican traditions while giving back to artisan communities.
From Riviera Maya to Punta Mita – A Journey of Authenticity
Our first collaboration with ALTEC was in Riviera Maya, where we designed a thoughtful welcome amenity bag filled with sun care essentials, a sunglasses experience, and a vibrant Mexican Market showcasing handcrafted treasures. It was a hit, and we knew we wanted to take things even further for year two!
This year, ALTEC returned—this time in Punta Mita—and we had the honor of crafting another unforgettable experience. Their welcome bag featured a one-of-a-kind handmade clutch from Sayulita, woven from recycled cotton and bursting with the vibrant colors that reflect the soul of the community. Every detail was intentionally chosen to tell a story.
A Market with Meaning
At the heart of our experience was a custom Mexican Market, designed so every attendee could handpick a gift to take home. A standout favorite? Our local jewelry brand, which attendees loved—not just for themselves, but even the men in the group picked out special pieces to bring home to loved ones who couldn’t make the trip.
Another highlight was Juana and her daughter, who were on-site, hand-embroidering hats at one of the market’s stations. Their art, passed down through generations, added a personal touch to each piece, making them even more special.
Impact Beyond the Event
What makes these experiences truly rewarding is the impact beyond the event itself. Thanks to ALTEC’s support, we were able to purchase more hats from Juana and her daughter, ensuring their craft continues to thrive. We also had the chance to showcase Yaritza’s jewelry, a talented artisan working with Eclectic Array, helping her expand her growing jewelry business.
At the core of everything we do is a commitment to empowering artisans, preserving traditions, and creating connections through meaningful gifts and experiences. We love bringing brands and communities together in ways that make a lasting difference.

Mexican Culture Shines at Accruent, Xcaret
We had the incredible opportunity to create unique amenities for the Accruent program in Riviera Maya at Xcaret. Thanks to their collaboration, 50 hand-painted portraits were sold alongside 50 chocolate kits that we crafted. This initiative not only celebrated Mexican heritage but also supported local communities by encouraging the preservation of their fine arts and folklore traditions.
Hand-Painted Portraits
During this project, we collaborated with the talented artisan Rosarito, renowned for her expertise in hand-painting beautiful and unique Mexican folklore onto wooden portraits and sculptures. Her stunning works capture the essence of Mexican culture, bringing its vibrant heritage to life through each piece. Each portrait tells a story, depicting scenes from daily life, mythical tales, and historical events. Rosarito’s attention to detail and her deep connection to her craft ensure that each artwork is a true masterpiece.
Mayan Chocolate Kits
Chocolate played a significant role in ancient Mayan civilization, where it was considered a luxury reserved for the upper class. It was used in religious ceremonies to honor the gods and as a prized ingredient in their cuisine. To celebrate this rich history, we created Mayan Chocolate Kits, offering a taste of this ancient tradition. Patricia, a passionate local from Guadalajara, started her business with her daughter to share their love for Mexican culture. Their kits include not only the finest chocolate but also detailed instructions and historical insights, allowing you to experience chocolate as the Mayans did.
Supporting Local Communities
This initiative goes beyond just creating and selling products. By partnering with local artisans like Rosarito and Patricia, we aim to foster sustainable economic growth within their communities. The proceeds from the sales help these artisans continue their craft, preserve their cultural heritage, and pass down their skills to future generations. Additionally, it encourages the local youth to engage with their traditions, ensuring that the rich tapestry of Mexican fine arts and folklore remains vibrant and alive.
A Cultural Experience
Our collaboration with the Accruent program at Xcaret was more than just a gifiting experience; it was a celebration of Mexican culture and an effort to bring its rich history to a wider audience.Attendees had the opportunities to witness the artistry and passion of local craftsmen firsthand, creating a meaningful connection to the culture and traditions of the region.
We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to more projects that celebrate and support the vibrant cultures and communities of Mexico. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

Gifts with great intention
The perfect beach bag: Each time a person chose a bag, they supported schools and sewing workshops in Puerto Vallarta. This isn't just about a bag; it's about supporting a community of women, who work all day to make a living for their families. On top of their impact, each one is made on a loom from upcycled cotton.
An experience to connect with your true self (The milagro experience): Lupita and her husband Francisco have created a truly magnificent workshop where each participant can be part of a journey of self-discovery. Each participant would select a wooden sculpture adorned with charms that would best connect with them or immediately draw their attention, and Lupita and Francisco interpret from them the meaning behind the chosen piece, connecting attendees with deeper feelings or energy they may or may not be aware of. This heartfelt experience moved many partners to tears of joy and nostalgia, creating unforgettable memories and endless conversations.
Hand Embroidered Hats: The hats are beautifully embroidered by a talented team of seamstresses from Punta Mita, led by Juana. Each hat is a labor of love, requiring up to 8 hours of meticulous work. Alma & Yaritza were deeply impacted by considering them both on this event, Alma was able to give maintenance to the laser machine she uses to create her MDF jewelry pieces, she was also able to purchase the material she was hoping to buy for a new collection she was planning to create for summer this year (it will be called Acqua), the collection for this event was made with so much care and dedication and it took 45 days approximately to handcraft each of her pieces with the help of her beloved husband who is with her every step of the way.
Yaritza had a mission of selling all the jewelry pieces she created with so much effort and love, she was committed to connect with the attendees and share a bit about the story behind her brand and she not only fulfilled her mission but she was also able to take beautiful pictures at the event of attendees wearing her collection which inspire her and motivated her to continue working on more collections for the summer, she created great content from the event and is currently looking for unique material.

Baja Summer Jam
Baja Summer Jam Pop up for puppies shelter
Last June we had the opportunity to participate in the Baja Summer Jam, a fundraising event that supports two civil associations dedicated to the rescue of dogs and cats, PET & Dog Darma.
The event was at Metate Restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, therefore it was full of food, drinks, local bands, and a great environment.
We were invited to set up a station to sell our most coveted Eclectic Array Designs products as hand-woven dog leashes, dog collars, and poop bags and part of the earnings went directly to the pet shelters.
Besides our daily corporate markets & wedding events, we love to have this kind of opportunity which allows us to support local associations and of course, contribute by giving a little happiness to our furry community.
Daily Gifting Experience
Salsero set : Black Clay Pig & salsas for gifting
This time we had the opportunity to be part of Chevron’s program which was of 4 days and 112 people plus their staff at the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita. This program consisted of a daily gifting service, a sunglass reception and market experience.
On the first two days, we gave welcome kits to the attendees. They received as a room drop plastic handwoven bags with one of our top 10 products for sun care “day tripper” and cotton beach blankets.
On the midday, we set up a sunglass reception in Punta Sayulita, an exclusive private complex where VIP attendees got to pick their favorite pair of DIFF sunglasses by the time they arrived at the venue. Once they choose them, they continue to enjoy the place with some fun activities.
As we can customize every item, we got asked to make some clothes with the group logo, so they surprised them at the welcome dinner the night before with the cloth and a card explaining DIFF and how they would get the glasses the next day.
We continue the program surprising the attendees with a cute kit of black clay pig salseros set with two types of salsas. The kits were decorated with a colorful ribbon, in a palm basket with wrinkle paper.
On the last day of the program, we finalize it with an afternoon Mexican Artisan Market, which consisted of 9 stations: hats, snacks and candies, Otomí designs, Huichol art, t-shirts, sandals, pottery, jewelry, and Mexican souvenirs. For the convenience of the attendees, we offered the room delivery service by the hand of the hotel. After their market experience people enjoyed dinner with a gorgeous sunset view by the beach and received wooden hand-painted Talavera design photo frames as room drops.
Supplier Story:
Our highlight during this event was Yolanda and Patricia’s work. Both producers made the Pig Salseros Set which was one of the favorites of the program.
Our unequaled barro negro or black clay pig salseros were made by dear artisan and friend Yolanda in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca. Yolanda made these pieces by hand using a brick oven to give them form.
On the other hand, salsas were made by Patricia, a supportive mom that helps her entrepreneur daughter Ana Paula with her business of candies and snacks in Guadalajara, Jalisco. With the profits of their business, they get to pay for Ana Paula’s College education.
